Red Feather Lakes, Colorado
All Are Welcome!
“Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you,
for the glory of God.” – Romans 15:7
Welcome to Chapel in the Pines Church in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado.
Whether you are a visitor, searching for a church family or a long-time member, please know that we are honored to have you and appreciate your interest in our church.
We are an interdenominational congregation where all Christians are welcome to worship together without exclusion. Various Christian denominations (Lutheran, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Catholic, etc.,) all come to worship together each week, share our faith and learn how much we have in common as one body in Christ. (For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. - 1 Cor. 12). Our constitution dictates a visiting pastor program, a defining feature and mission of our church that reinforces our commitment in embracing all established Christian denominations. How awesome is that?!

There are many ways to engage in the life and community of Chapel and we invite everyone in all stages and phases of life to be involved. We hope you will find something that will spark your interest and deepen your relationship with God in Christ.
If this is your first visit, here is what you can expect:
Come as You Are
Our church family comes together with no formal dress code and are welcome to come as you are!

If you would like to come before service, we always have coffee and some treat waiting for you in our Fellowship Hall to enjoy. If you want to come at 9:30 a.m. you are invited to sit in and participate in a discussion during our Forum (Adult Education) until 10:30 a.m.
The Drive
We have provided links to Google Maps at the bottom of each page on our website.
What happens when I get there?
When you enter Chapel, you will be greeted by one of our friendly greeters that will be glad to answer any questions you may have and will be given a laminated bulletin with the "Order of Service". On the table in the entry (narthex) you will find our weekly schedule and other helpful information about our church.

What is the service like?
If you will find our service a mixture of Christian traditions in meeting with God in a comfortable, non-threatening environment. Each Sunday, Communion is celebrated and all are welcome to the Communion table.

As 11 a.m. arrives, our pianist will open the service with a short piano piece. During service you are encouraged to join in the singing as much as you’d like. Don’t know the words? We have “hymnals” in all the pews. No one has any expectations.
The page numbers for the songs and prayers are listed on a board up in front for you to follow.
At the beginning of service, someone (usually our Council President) will share some brief announcements. Sometimes we will also take a few moments to greet one another informally.
After the "Hymn of Praise" children (ages 3+) are released from the sanctuary and invited to leave to our classroom with the teachers for children’s ministry time and learning. This is always optional. We also have a nursery room available for parents to use just inside our Fellowship Hall.

Following Service
When the service concludes, you are welcome to stay and chat with those around you or enjoy a free simple lunch in our Fellowship Hall.
On your way out, we encourage you to sign up for our free weekly email newsletter that will keep you up to date on what is happening at Chapel. Cards are available in the narthex for you to fill out.
